Council & Platforms
Explore the volunteer councils and community platforms that power Training Gate International’s advocacy for persons with disabilities across Kuwait.
Advisory Council
The advisory council is established for Training Gate International to achieve the mission rooted in generosity, benevolence, and noble humanitarian values, aiming to advocate for persons with disabilities.
It brings together experts from diverse fields across Kuwaiti society, offering them a space to leave their mark by supporting TGI’s roadmaps and contributing to life-improving initiatives for persons with disabilities.
This work is entirely voluntary, and advisory council members serve as representatives of Training Gate International, championing disability advocacy across official platforms and forums.

Shabab Platform
The youth council was established to share the responsibility of improving the lives of persons with disabilities of all kinds.
Members cultivate relationships, understanding, and cooperation agreements with similar youth entities—governmental, civil society, and private sector—to correct misconceptions and expand empowerment so that persons with disabilities can contribute to every aspect of life.
The council, composed of young people with and without disabilities, helps shape the implementation roadmap for TGI programs and initiatives, driven by a belief in the value of volunteering and its positive impact on society.
Their work is voluntary, and council members are representatives of the Youth Platform, one of TGI’s flagship initiatives.
Hayat Platform
Hayat Platform launched in November 2019 alongside celebrations of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. It convenes the Board of Parents of children with disabilities for recurring conversations via live social media broadcasts.
These exchanges enrich the awareness of parents and the wider community about daily experiences that shape the futures of their children. Young members with disabilities facilitate the sessions, sharing their stories and inviting guests who can help advance the platform’s mission.
The platform is named after Hayat Barak Al-Subaih—celebrated as Kuwait’s ‘Dean of Persons with Disabilities’—whose parents empowered her to live an independent, positive life.
Members

Eman Platform
The council of women with disabilities and their non-disabled peers within Training Gate International was formed to advance women’s leadership in society.
Members champion social responsibility, capacity-building, and the skills required to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, confronting discrimination and reducing inequalities.
By amplifying their shared challenges, the council motivates women to advocate for their needs and ensures their representation across formal bodies.
Their work is voluntary, and each member stands as an ambassador of the Eman Platform—one of TGI’s key initiatives dedicated to women with disabilities.
